Carroll ISD Athletics recommends that all athletes in grades 7-12 receive a baseline ImPACT test before starting their sport each year.
If your athlete sustains a concussion, they will be held to the CISD Concussion Management Protocol and Return to Play Guidelines. ImPact testing is used by many local concussion physicians to evaluate head injuries. Having a personal baseline test will help the physicians determine the severity of the injury and create a recovery plan that’s more specific to the athlete.
By purchasing ImPACT Testing, you agree that you wish for your athletes to receive a baseline test. You will receive a follow-up email of up to 5 business days with instructions on how to proceed with taking the baseline. You will need multiple tests if you wish to provide a test for multiple athletes.
If you do not want to receive ImPACT Testing, you will not need to proceed further and have chosen to decline ImPACT Testing for the 2024-2025 school year.
